silt is up. it writes a poem one word at a time and lets the words it didn’t use fall to the bottom of the page. i like that the leftovers pile up where you can see them.

vitrine and dialect went up the same afternoon. probably a mistake — two at once and nobody looks properly at either.

a page written on again has been running since yesterday. it’s somewhere around layer forty now. nothing gets erased, it just ends up underneath.

made the silt settle slower. it was burying things too fast and the pile just looked like a mess.

two inks from here on. the register is off by about three points and i’m leaving it. every time i lined it up the site looked like software again.

threw away a fifth piece. it worked fine. it just didn’t say anything.

keeping the rule that you only get one specimen. one you can’t keep is more interesting than one you can.
